Ambassador of Belarus held a meeting with the President of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce

On September 28, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe, H.E. Yury Nikalaichyk, met with the President of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC), Ms. Josephine Takundwa.

During the talks, the parties discussed in detail practical steps aimed at increasing bilateral trade turnover through the intensification of direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
Y. Nikalaichyk and J. Takundwa reaffirmed their mutual interest in deepening cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Zimbabwe. Particular emphasis was placed on the necessity of achieving concrete, tangible results in trade and economic cooperation.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to organize a joint Belarusian-Zimbabwean business event in the near future.

In order to specify prospective areas of partnership, the head of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce was presented with a package of information, reference, and promotional materials from leading Belarusian manufacturers of goods and services interested in entering the Zimbabwean market.
