The Ambassador-designate of Belarus to Zimbabwe participated in a working meeting at the Ministry of Energy

On April 15, 2026, the Ambassador-designate of Belarus to Zimbabwe Yury Nikalaichyk participated in a working meeting at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

The event was attended by management and representatives of the relevant departments of the Ministry and the state-owned energy companies ZESA and ZETDC, Production Association «Energoсomplekt», dealers of Belarusian industrial goods.
The parties exchanged on the outcomes of the visit of the Minister of Energy of Zimbabwe Hon. July Moyo to Belarus in November 2025. 
Readiness to continue joint work in the energy sector, including education and training, supply of Belarusian goods for the needs of the Zimbabwe energy system, exchange of best practices in the field of electrification was confirmed.
Further priority steps were discussed to ensure maximum productivity of this work, a schedule of expert contacts for the near future was agreed.
