Ambassador of Belarus meets with ZimTrade CEO

On October 5, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe Yury Nikalaichyk met with Allan Majuru, Chief Executive Officer of ZimTrade, the National trade development and promotion organization of Zimbabwe.

During the talks, the parties discussed practical steps to increase bilateral trade turnover and diversify mutual deliveries. Special attention was paid to intensifying cooperation between ZimTrade and the National Export Promotion Centre of Belarus within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023.
The interlocutors outlined prospects for organizing joint business events in the near future. The implementation of these plans is intended to facilitate the establishment of direct contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries and the promotion of Belarusian products of engineering, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and ICT to the Zimbabwean market.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to coordinate efforts for prompt support of commercial initiatives of the business communities of Belarus and Zimbabwe.
