Ambassador of Belarus took part in the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show

On August 26–28, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe Yury Nikalaichyk and the diplomats of the mission took part in the annual Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, the country's largest exhibition event in the agricultural sector.
On August 28, the Head of the Mission attended the official opening ceremony, which was graced by the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe H.E. Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, the country's top leadership, heads of sectotal ministries and representatives of agricultural unions and associations.

On the sidelines of the forum, Yury Nikolaichik held talks with the Minister of Lands and Rural Development of Zimbabwe Hon. Vangelis Haritatos, and the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development Hon. Professor Obert Jiri.
Belarusian diplomats toured the pavilions of key ministries and organizations, including the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works, and the Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (ARDA). Meetings with partners were held at the stands of entities actively operating Belarusian agricultural and firefighting equipment. The Zimbabwean side highly praised the reliability and performance of Belarusian machinery, highlighting the significant contribution of joint programs to ensure Zimbabwe's food security.
The Ambassador of Belarus gave an interview to the local media, highlighting the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
