On the audience of the Ambassador of Belarus with the First Lady of Zimbabwe

On June 15, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Yury Nikalaichyk was awarded an audience with the First Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe Her Excellency Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa.
 

In a warm and trusting atmosphere, an exchange of views took place on the implementation of the humanitarian component of the agreements at the highest level and the Roadmap for strategic cooperation and partnership until 2030.

O.Mangagwa highly appreciated the level of bilateral relations achieved, including following her visits to Belarus, and noted her interest in continuing results-oriented work.

The First Lady of Zimbabwe conveyed her gratitude to the President of the Republic of Belarus for his personal attention to the development of the entire range of cooperation between the two countries.

The parties stressed the importance of continuing work in key areas of cooperation, including education and rehabilitation of children, health care, medical science, protection of mothers and children, the supply of medicines, dairy and meat baby and infant food, interaction between women's organizations of the two countries, cultural exchanges, including the possible participation of representatives of Zimbabwe in the XXXV international art festival “SLAVIANSKIY BAZAAR IN VITEBSK”. Certain steps in support of the implemented agreements in these areas are outlined.

During the meeting, the Ambassador handed over the original message of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the First Lady and a copy of the congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe H.E. Emmerson D. Mangagwa on the occasion of the election of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.
