Ambassador-designate of Belarus to Zimbabwe met in the Ministry of Land and Agriculture

On April 14, 2026, the Ambassador-designate of Belarus to Zimbabwe Yury Nikalaichyk took part in a working meeting with Engineer Edwin Samuel Zimunga, the Chief Director for Agricultural Engineering, Mechanisation and Farm Infrastructure Development, Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus leadership (in a video-call format), manufacturers and exporters, a dealer of Belarusian agricultural equipment in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Embassy in Minsk.
A substantive discussion was held on the implementation of the third phase of the Zimbabwe Farm Mechanisation Facitily Program, the prospects for entering the fourth phase of the Program and the inclusion of new positions in it. Substantive joint steps for this work in the short term were agreed.
