Ambassador of Belarus I.Marshalau participates in an Open Day at the service center of Belarusian machinery Baison Agro Machinery in Harare
28.11.2025On 28 November 2025, the Ambassador of Belarus to Zimbabwe, Ihar Marshalau, attended an Open Day at the “Baison Agro Machinery” service centre, dedicated to the end of the grain harvest season in Zimbabwe. The event was also attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water Resources and Rural Development of Zimbabwe, headed by Deputy Minister, Hounarable Mr.V.Haritatos, as well as farmers' associations, including women farmers, and administrations of several provinces of Zimbabwe.

The entire range of Belarusian agricultural machinery supplied to and operating in Zimbabwe was presented at the “Bison Agro Machinery” company site. New tractors were presented during the event, including the 90-horsepower “Belarus-92S” tractor with a new plastic cladding and the “Belarus-132H” and “Belarus-152” mini-tractors with implements.

During the conversation between the Ambassador of Belarus I.Marshalau and the Deputy Minister V.Haritatos, the problems and prospects of implementing the third phase of the Belarus-Zimbabwe Farm Mechanisation Facility were discussed, as well as plans to supply mini-tractors to Zimbabwe as part of government assistance programmes for small farmers in the country.

Hon.Mr.V.Haritatos highly appreciated the quality of maintenance of Belarusian equipment by technical centers currently operating in four major cities of Zimbabwe, including the capital. According to him, the “Belarusian partners are consistent, responsible, able to listen and hear the requests of the Zimbabwean Side and meet them halfway”.
