Ambassador of Belarus discusses growth of mutual trade and cultural cooperation

On July 13, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe Yury Nikalaychik met with Stanley Kudenga, Chief Executive Officer of the investment holding company ZimRe Holdings Limited (ZHL). The meeting was also attended by representatives of the holding's subsidiaries specializing in export credit insurance, regional risk management for foreign trade transactions, and cross-border trade protection.

The parties discussed establishing direct contacts between relevant Belarusian and Zimbabwean companies, potential participation in joint projects, and scaling up cooperation across the region.
The immediate steps to intensify bilateral engagement were identified.
On the same day, Yury Nikalaychik received Sipho Mazibuko, Head of the cultural association for rural community support “Mental Voices Trust”.

The sides discussed opportunities for developing intercultural exchanges between the two nations in the context of the upcoming exchange Days of Culture of Belarus and Zimbabwe.
