On handing over by Ambassador Ihar Marshalau his Credentials to the President of Zimbabwe

On 7 February 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Gen. Ihar Marshalau presented his Credentials to H.E. Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

 

 

During the meeting, the Sides exchanged views on the international agenda, discussed the implementation of joint projects and prospects for further deepening of Belarusian-Zimbabwean interaction, including agricultural and industrial cooperation. The President of Zimbabwe also confirmed his readiness to pay a reciprocal visit to Belarus.

The first session of the Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation between Belarus and Zimbabwe is scheduled to be held in Harare soon.
